Xuanjun Guo

Visiting Student

Xuanjun is a PhD student in the Institute of Science and Technology for Brain-Inspired Intelligence, Fudan University, China. She joined the Tan lab in October 2023 as a visiting DPhil student and will be staying for one year.  Before her PhD, Xuanjun obtained a BSc in Electronic Information from Sichuan University, China with a two-year National Scholarship (2017-2019). During her undergraduate study, Xuanjun developed a monitor system with 12-lead ECGs based on deep learning, which was honored as an excellent project in the National Student's Platform for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program.  

Xuanjun’s PhD research project is about detecting neural population synchronization states from local field potential signals. Her study aims to combine instantaneous phase information into adaptive modulation algorithms for Parkinson’s Disease. Her work involves data analysis, algorithm design, and embedding system development.
